Hometown: Lānaʻi, Hawaiʻi

Current Residence: Maui, Hawaiʻi

Bri's first memories were playing on the beach at Hulopoʻe and charging the waves to discover the ocean world. That early love for the ocean led her to a B.S. in marine biology at CSU Humboldt, before returning home to Hawaiʻi to put it to use. After working on vessels as a naturalist, she found her path as the Conservation and Outreach Manager at Pacific Whale Foundation, leading Mauka to Makai initiatives and marine debris removal projects on Maui. Bri is stoked to bring that experience to Papahānaumokuākea, learn from the incredible team at PMDP, give back to this sacred space, and share what she learns with the community she's devoted to serve. She is so grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! When she's not caring for our ʻāina, Bri is busy planning her wedding with her fiancée Alyssa, playing with her pup Ehu Girl, dancing hula or experimenting with her sourdough starter.
