A wilderness is a proliferation of questions. Scarce, though, are answers. Scarce, too, are the humans, who derive energy primarily from answers.

Dissect the organelles, foray into the cogs and machinations of the wilderness, and know nothing more than the wisdom of a reptileʻs vacant stare. Control the variables, run the regressions, use the models to predict a forecast and still the surf crests, crashes, foams with disdain for manʻs certainty. Still the thunder booms with the percussive music of manʻs fate.

It is a humble act of supplication to venture into a wilderness and be confronted by difficult questions in difficult places. Tread lightly and reveal your answer.
