Andy Sullivan-Haskins
MULTIMEDIA SPECIALIST - EXPEDITION PHOTOGRAPHER
Hometown: Rhode Island
Current Residence: Honolulu, Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi
Andrew Sullivan-Haskins is an Emmy-winning conservation photographer and cinematographer based in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. His work is shaped by years of living and working on the remote islands and atolls of Papahānaumokuākea. Through his imagery, Andrew seeks to document both the extraordinary beauty of these ecosystems and the growing threats they face, creating visual narratives that inspire awareness, accountability, and direct action.
In addition to giving the wildlife of Papahānaumokuākea a voice, his photographs often highlight the individuals working on the front lines of conservation who dedicate their lives to protecting these fragile and culturally significant places. His work aims to bridge the gap between remote fieldwork and public understanding, bringing audiences closer to environments few will ever experience firsthand.
Andrew currently serves as the Expedition Photographer for the Papahānaumokuākea Marine Debris Project, where he documents large-scale marine debris removal efforts across the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. Working in dynamic and often challenging field conditions, he captures raw, unfiltered moments that reveal both the scale of the problem and the commitment required to address it.
